Moffat Takadiwa’s (Zimbabwe) su trabajo se distingue por las composiciones y el uso de materiales como tapones de botellas, cerdas de cepillos de dientes, teclas de ordenador. Colocadas creando formas abstractas y literales, conformando una amalgama de fascinantes obras de pared.
El cuerpo de su trabajo es la exploración y documentación de la identidad cultural y del entorno, especialmente subrayando la generación a gran escala de desechos plásticos y en consecuencia el impacto medioambiental que supone.
En su trabajo percibimos como toma prestada la tradición textil de Zimbawe, al tiempo que se forma una contradicción: una creación casi ceremoniosa tan impactante como hermosa.
