Badr el Jundi opened his gallery, located in Marbella, Malaga in July 2020. Lately, in September 2022, he moved his headquarters to Madrid, where he has been operating until April 2024 when the commercial gallery will start its transition towards Badr El Jundi Foundation.
The gallery has represented international artists, bridging different cultures, and promoting dialogue and intellectual growth. Badr El Jundi was a contemporary art gallery with a programme of support and promotion of international artists, generating projects of creative experimentation. The gallery space has been understood as a field of reflection on the new possibilities of artistic media, specializing in the artists of the founder’s generation. The gallery focused on the production of specific projects, both solo and group exhibitions, with the participation of both national and international curators, thus encouraging interaction between the different factors of the contemporary art scene and the creation of discourse through direct work with the artists.
