Ella Bril is a Dutch contemporary artist. People intrigue her and the world never fails to amaze. She creates her own version of reality and tries to capture moments and images from her vivid imagination on canvas by mixing, matching and experimenting with colour using oil as a primary medium.
Ella is interested in the emotions and how they can be represented by the use of colour and expressions on the faces and gestures of the characters in her paintings; she portrays moments and memories, nature and people. Her narratives wander throughout the ambiences and objects of the daily life of the artist, where she creates her own version of reality and tries to capture moments and images through a pictorial language creating vibrant contemporary art pieces.
